I think I have a virus, what do I do?

If you have internet access try going to Trend Micro at the address http://us.trendmicro.com/us/home/ and on the right hand side click on House Call this is a free virus scanner. Just follow the on screen directions to start a scan. If this does not work or you do not have internet access then you may need to bring the computer into BCS to have a tech look at it.

When I am on the internet a box pops up telling me that I am at risk for virus, do I click ok?

No, do not trust any popup that comes from the internet. When this particular one comes up if you were to click ok what you are doing is giving permission for viruses and hackers to access your computer. Only trust the virus programs you initiate or the programs that came with the computer.
